Summer guests, all of our rooms have AIR CONDITIONING.
A spacious room on the first floor at the front of the house containing twin beds and room for a cot if traveling among friends. It features the original hardwood floor, a fireplace setting and a smaller private bathroom w/shower. The perfect room for someone who REALLY doesn't like stairs!
Kashi is a two room suite with a large private bathroom with airjet jaccuzzi style tub located on the first floor. The bedroom has a fireplace setting, original hardwood flooring, and a king-size four post bed.
The sitting room has cable television, Chinese lacquerware furniture and a futon where an extra guest might sleep. The bathtub is extra deep with air jets for a soothing soak or shower for those who don't have as much time. The innkeeper, a potter, crafted the sink featured in this bathroom.
Ume is a large comfortable room with a queen-size brass bed, a private bathroom w/shower, HDTV with cable, the original wood flooring and fire place setting. The decor and tiger maple dresser create a very pleasant ambiance. The basin in the bathroom was handcrafted by the innkeeper. Ume is a favorite of the innkeepers, and spacious enough to add a cot.
The largest single bedroom in the house, TAKE is located at the front of the Coburn Home and overlooks the downtown area.
Set apart from the rest of the guest rooms with its own staircase, it features a queen-sized and a twin-sized bed, large private bathroom, and fireplace setting with fine Japanese artwork and handmade pottery made by the innkeeper on the mantle. For triple occupancy, please add $25 to the basic cost of the room.
The namesake of the inn, Kaede has a queen sized brass bed, cable TV, a private shower/bath, and a bay window under which the bed sits. There is also a smaller entry room that gives the bedroom an extra element of privacy.
A warm and comfortable room that gets great light in the afternoon. Recently refinished with hardwood flooring and painted with rich green hues, enjoy the queen size bed and the innkeeper's handcrafted pottery. Hinoki has a private bathroom with a shower.
